When merging helps

A single PDF is useful when an application asks for one attachment but your material is spread across several files. You might combine a cover letter, a project summary and supporting pages. Before merging, decide the reading order. A combined file should tell a clear story without forcing the reader to search for the next section.

02

Merge your documents with Folio

Open Merge PDF and choose between two and ten PDFs. Folio combines them in the order shown in the selected-file list. Check that list before converting; rename your source files with prefixes such as 01, 02 and 03 if that helps you select them consistently. If the order is wrong, select the files again. The combined upload must fit within 10 MB and 50 pages in total.

03

Check the combined file

Download the result and open it in a PDF reader. Check the first and last page of each source document, then compare the total page count with your originals. Mixed portrait and landscape pages can coexist in a PDF, but the change in orientation may surprise someone printing the file. Remove any accidental duplicate pages before your final submission.

Common problems

Password-protected files are not supported. If you own the document and have permission, export an unprotected copy from your PDF software first. Merging does not reduce the size of large scanned pages. Try Compress PDF afterward, but keep your original files and do not expect every scan to become smaller.
